About P21 (P021) 5mg
P21 was derived by reducing ciliary neurotrophic factor to a minimal active fragment and then adding an adamantyl group, the same lipophilicity strategy used in Adamax. The reported mechanism runs through inhibition of leukaemia inhibitory factor signalling and downstream BDNF elevation, with effects described on hippocampal neurogenesis and on tau hyperphosphorylation in Alzheimer's models. Work has come predominantly from the Iqbal group at the New York State Institute for Basic Research. It is one of the more costly research peptides in this catalogue owing to the adamantylation chemistry.
Storage and reconstitution
